Add Pets to Your Application

Learn how to enter Pet information.

If you plan to have animals living with you, you must add them to your application.

This helps the leasing team review pet rules, deposits, and approval requirements.

If your animal is a service or emotional support animal:

  1. Select the assistance animal option
  1. Upload the required documentation
  1. Save the information

Only choose this option if your animal legally qualifies.

⚠️
Misrepresenting an animal as a service animal can be a criminal offense. Please refer to your state laws and verify you meet the legal requirements for your pet to be classified as an assistance animal.

If a Pet Profile Is Required with Petscreening.com

Some properties require a separate pet profile screened through PetScreening.com.

You will be asked to agree and complete the pet profile:

Important Notes

  • Every animal living in the home must be listed
  • Add pets even if they stay part-time
  • Approval depends on the property’s pet policy
  • Missing pet information may delay your application

Adding pets early helps prevent approval delays and ensures the leasing team reviews your application correctly.
