During the application process, you’ll need to submit an ID to provide proof that you are you. You are required to use a current and valid US government-issued ID from the following list:
- Driver’s License
- State ID
- Passport
- Passport Card
- Permanent Resident Card
- Employment Authorization Card
The following IDs will not be accepted:
- Any expired ID
- Non-US ID (driver's license, ID card)
- US non-government-issued ID (school ID, bank card, company badge, etc.)
- Social Security card
- Temporary paper Driver’s License or State ID
- Any photocopies, electronic replicas, or screenshots
The only non-US government-issued IDs that will be accepted are passports at this time UNLESS you are applying for a Canadian property rental.
Troubleshooting
- If you do not have a valid ID, you’ll need to reach out to the Leasing Team for additional guidance.
- Do not upload or send your ID images via support chat or text. Only upload directly through the application portal during the ID verification process or manual upload. The only way that your ID can be verified is through the application process.
