You’ll create one account that you can use for all rental applications — now and in the future.
You only need to do this once.
Step 1 — Click Apply
After selecting a property, click Apply.
You’ll be taken to the account creation page.
Step 2 — Enter Your Information
Enter your details exactly as shown below.

Legal First Name
Use the name shown on your government-issued ID.
Do not use:
- Nicknames
- Preferred names
- Middle names (unless included on ID)
This is required for identity verification later.
Legal Last Name
Enter your full last name exactly as it appears on your ID.
If this does not match your ID, verification may fail.
Email Address
This becomes your username.
You’ll use this email to:
- Sign in
- Receive application updates
- Reset your password
📌 Use an email you can access immediately.
Phone Number
Used for:
- Security verification codes (2-factor login)
- Messages from the leasing team
Must be a phone number from:
- United States
- Canada
- Mexico
Password
Create a password using:
- Uppercase letters
- Lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Symbols (example: ! % *)
Passwords are case-sensitive.
Step 3 — Verify Your Account
After clicking Let’s Get Started, you’ll receive a verification code.

You can receive it by:
- Text message (default)
- Email (backup option)
Enter the code and click Verify.
Step 4 — Choose Your Role
You will select:
Role | Choose This If |
Applicant | You will live in the home |
Guarantor | You are co-signing but not living there |
You’ll then go to your My Applications dashboard.

If you are applying as an additional member or guarantor to a household, be sure to follow the link provided to you via invitation email.
Common Issues (And Fixes)
I didn’t get the verification code
Try:
- Waiting 30 seconds
- Checking spam folder (email option)
- Confirming your phone number is correct
- Requesting a new code
If still not received → contact technical support by clicking Ask a Question > I’ve got a question or issue with the website.
It says my phone number is invalid
Your number must be US, Canada, or Mexico based.
VoIP numbers may not work.
I already applied before
Sign in instead — do not create a second account.
Your applications stay linked to your original email.
My name is different from my ID
You must use your legal ID name.
You can explain preferred names later in the application.
