You can obtain your FICO score from different resources (some for free). You can also get a copy of your report (with or without a score) from different sources.
Accessing FICO Scores
Experian
Experian allows a free sign-up to access your FICO 8 score from Experian (experian.com).
myFICO
You can access your FICO scores through myFICO (myfico.com). There are a number of subscription plans and one-time reports that can be accessed for a fee. MyFICO also offers a free plan, the FICO Free Plan. Through this plan, you will have access to your FICO 8 score and credit report from Equifax (FICO Score Equifax 1B Report). They also offer credit monitoring and updated reports each month for your Equifax account.
Transunion
You can also purchase a one-time VantageScore® 3.0 score for $0.99 through the TransUnion Service Center. Simply create an account or log into your existing account to get started.
Accessing FICO Reports
While accessing FICO scores free of charge can be more complicated, accessing your FICO report is easier.
myFICO: The FICO Score Equifax 1B Report can be accessed free of charge by signing up for the FICO Free Plan. This report will provide credit data including Accounts, Collections, Public Records, and Inquiries.
Experian: Your current Experian FICO credit report can be obtained without needing to input a credit card. If you sign up for premium, a free 7-day trial will provide access to FICO credit reports from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
Transunion: You can get a free credit report from Transunion or sign up for their paid subscription service that monitors your credit.
AnnualCreditReport.com: Per federal law, each of the three credit bureaus - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion - must provide consumers with their credit report once every 12 months. These reports can be requested and viewed by creating a free account on annualcreditreport.com, and can also be requested over the phone or by mail. FICO Scores through Banks
Many banks and credit unions offer access to certain FICO scores as part of the FICO
American Express: Card members of this institution will not have to pay to access their FICO 8 score from Experian. Bank of America: A FICO 8 score from TransUnion is currently offered free of charge to those Bank of America customers who hold certain credit cards. Barclaycard: Certain Barclaycards will allow access to FICO 8 score from TransUnion. Citi: Citi has recently rolled out access to FICO 8 scores from Equifax for their credit card customers. Discover: Those customers who have a Discover card are able to view their FICO 8 score from TransUnion at no additional cost. Wells Fargo: Customers who have a Wells Fargo Online account are able to enroll in their complimentary Credit Close-Up program, which will reveal your FICO 9 score from Experian.
